Week 2 - Hated by his Brothers (Genesis 37:12-36)
In week two, Joseph faces his first major adversity when his own brothers sell him into slavery in Egypt. We’ll examine the deep-rooted jealousy and animosity that led to this betrayal and explore the emotional and spiritual challenges Joseph faced as a result. Witness how Joseph's unwavering faith and mindset helped him overcome this heart-wrenching ordeal, setting the stage for God's greater plan to unfold.

Week 3 - Sold as a Slave in Egypt (Genesis 39:1-20)
In week three, we follow Joseph's journey from being sold into slavery to his unlikely success in the house of Potiphar. We witness how Joseph's integrity and unwavering faith earn him favor, allowing him to rise above his circumstances. He works to learn the language and ways of the Egyptians, skillfully adapting to his new environment. However, his trials are far from over as he faces a false accusation from Potiphar's wife, once again testing his devotion to God.

Week 4 - Wrongfully Accused & Unjustly Imprisoned (Genesis 39:21-40:23)
In week four, we follow Joseph's journey in prison, unjustly accused, yet God's faithfulness remains unwavering. Despite his circumstances, Joseph maintains a positive attitude and continues to trust in God's plan. Witness how, even behind bars, he is given favor by the warden and is divinely positioned to interpret the dreams of the King’s cupbearer and baker, showcasing his prophetic gift. The cupbearer returns to his position and forgets about Joseph for two years and Joseph is again reminded that while men may fail, God never forgets His promises.

Week 5 - Second Only To Pharoah (Genesis 41:1-57)
In week five, everything changes as Pharaoh's dream sets the stage for Joseph's future. Joseph's life experiences have prepared him for this defining moment, proving that he didn't simply rise to the occasion, but was divinely equipped for it. As Joseph interprets the dream and gives all credit to God, he is recognized as the only one with the skills to guide Egypt through the coming years of plenty and famine. Witness Joseph's strategic genius as he develops a plan to save not only Egypt, but also the surrounding nations from death.

Week 6 - Reconciled to His Family (Genesis 42:1-45:28)
In week six, famine strikes Canaan, which forces Joseph's brothers to embark on a journey to Egypt in search of food. We’ll witness the wisdom of Joseph as he thoughtfully evaluates the sincerity of his brothers' remorse. Through a series of tests, Joseph carefully assesses their transformation. Joseph, finally convinced of their change of heart, reveals his true identity to his astonished brothers.

Week 7 - Savior of the World (Genesis 46:1-50:26)
In the final and seventh week, we'll turn our attention to the future, focusing on the last wishes of Joseph's father, Jacob, and the blessings he bestows upon his sons. We'll delve into the story of the impending enslavement of God's people, but also witness how God's faithfulness ensures their preservation throughout this difficult time. As we conclude our series, we'll reflect on the parallels between Joseph and Jesus, highlighting how Joseph's story serves as a foreshadowing of the promised Messiah.
